A&L – Alluminio & Leghe was created thirty years ago following the experience of the prestigious Alluminio Nuova Metallurgia magazine, founded in 1931 and subsequently supported by Novara’s Experimental Institute for Light Metals. Today A&L is a modern communication tool entirely dedicated to the industrial sector of aluminium and all its alloys, with a special focus on downstream processes, foundry casting, pressure die casting, extrusion and rolling; its editorial program covers all the different phases of production – as well as a wide range of topics such as technologies and plants, developments and innovations, products, final applications, economics and markets. The professional competence of the editorial board and a solid cooperation with industry associations and leading institutions in the field allow A&L to provide all kinds of information for general managers, plant managers, production, marketing, sales and purchasing managers, researchers, technical and corporate consultants, metallurgists and operations engineers in production plants all over the world.
Available in both paper and digital format, the magazine is bi-monthly and bilingual (English and Italian). Its average circulation per issue is of 6,000 paper copies (69% in Italy, 31% abroad) and of 35,000 digital copies (64% in Italy, 35% abroad); these are distributed to a selected mailing list of subscribers, advertisers and readers along the entire value chain of the industry, from the first steps of production to the main final applications – such as packaging, automotive, aerospace, building and construction, furnishing and structural uses. All issues of the magazine can be consulted free of charge on the A&L website, where the main flash news items are published; these are additionally shared on social media such as facebook, twitter and linkedin.
Alluminio & Leghe is the supporter media partner of the international exhibition METEF – a trade show focused on customized technology for the aluminium, foundry castings and innovative metals industry – which has been a reference point for professional operators working in this field for well over twenty years.
